VFX for TV ad - Uractiv Forte
Client: StudioAlb as the main production studio, working for Fiterman Pharma, one of the biggest pharma companies in Romania by market share.
Project: VFX work for the new TV ads being shot for one of their most popular products.
Challenge: Greenscreen, 3d graphics inserts, set extensions, screen replacements, tracking, UI animations... not to mention that with over 45% of the total runtime of the commercials needing some sort of VFX work done, this project needed precise technical expertise and tight scheduling to get everything done on time and on budget.
Solution: Planing, prep work and, most importantly, tests. During preproduction we went through all possible options, resources and outcomes. We created test set-ups for the more complicated shots and VFX elements, and we made sure we knew exactly how we can make them work no matter what happens on the day of the shoot. It was this thorough planning that allowed us to get all the shots we needed, in perfect shape, in only three days of shooting. This made the postproduction stage pretty much painless, since everything fit together perfectly, albeit it was still meticulous and time-consuming work to polish it to the level we wanted to get to.
