Animated case study video – Scener Snyder Cut

Client: Mile80 as the main production studio, working for Scener, a platform that allows people to get together online to watch movies, shows, series, and any other kind of video.

Project: A highlight/case study video about Scener's event with Zack Snyder, where the director hosted a watch party of his cut of Justice League for his fans.

Challenge: Create an engaging animated case study video of the event and its results, with a focus on showcasing Scener's functionality and interface.

Story: We already had the look laid down, based on Scener's interface and event visuals. It was a pretty big challenge to add something on top of that and still stick to the brand guidelines, but in the end the idea we settled on was to double down on the whole "cinema" concept of the event. I took Scener's interface elements and made it feel like an actual movie theater by placing all the panels in 3D space and using camera angles and moves that make the viewer feel like they're part of an audience sitting in front of the big screen.
